Durham Medical is proud to launch our biggest Extreme Home Accessibility Contest ever! One deserving Durham Region family will have their home transformed with a $30,000 home accessibility renovation. Contractor John McLellan is generously donating the services of his construction crew, helping to make sure this contest is a tremendous event!
The contest will launch in May 2013 with a call for applicants and is open to all residents of Durham Region who have need for a home accessibility makeover. We encourage you to apply on-line and tell us why you or someone in your family should receive this once in a lifetime opportunity…to have a home renovated to meet your special needs. All applications will be held in strict confidence. Applications will only be accepted until August 1, 2013.
During the month of September, a judging team, including special needs medical therapists and our contractor, will select five finalists. Family site visits to all finalists’ homes will be conducted shortly thereafter. On September 30, 2013, during Durham Medical’s 30thAnniversary celebration day, the lucky winner will be announced through a random draw. Over the next several months our contest winner will see both their home and lives transformed for the better.
